Learning to be mindful is the equivalent of taking your mind to the gym. There are different ways to learn about mindfulness and how to practise it in your daily life. We learn to meditate, but this is only part of the practice as we also learn a number of activities that we can include into our everyday life to bring us into the moment.
Mindfulness can be learnt in person, either through a group course or one-to-one with a trained teacher. A course led by Train My Mind will lead you gently through the stages you need to learn.
There are also a number of books, audios, videos and online courses too, where you can learn through self-directed practice at home.
At Train My Mind we are aware of the resources available out there but would always suggest you begin with a six to eight week course to learn the fundamentals. After this we can then direct you to further resources to help you make Mindfulness a fundamental part of your life and as such maintain and keep all the benefits you have experienced from studying Mindfulness with us.
